3. Show
A show bet is a variation of the Win and Place bet. In order for this horse racing betting type to be successful, you’ll need to correctly predict which selection will come in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place.
4. Across the Board
This horse racing betting type is a combination of the Win, Place, and Show wagers. With an Across the Board wager, you’re essentially betting that your selection will Win, Place, and Show. If your selection comes in 1st place you’ll collect on all 3 wagers, if your selection comes in 2nd place you’ll collect on the Place and Show wagers, and if your selection comes in 3rd place you’ll collect on the Show wager.
5. Exacta
This is one of the simplest single-race exotic horse racing betting types which is popular in Australian sports betting and you’ll need to correctly predict which selections will come in 1st and 2nd place in the exact order for this bet to be successful.
6. Quinella
A Quinella is similar to an Exacta horse racing wager, however you won’t have to correct predict the exact order of 1st and 2nd place for this betting type to be successful. Simply select which 2 selections will come in 1st and 2nd place in any order.
7. Trifecta

10. Pick 3 / Pick 4 / Pick 6
Pick 3, Pick 4, and Pick 6 are all variations of the Double horse racing betting type. These multi-race wagers only differ in the number of winners you’ll have to select across consecutive races, i.e. 3, 4, or 6 winners of 3, 4, or 6 consecutive races.
